    Cancer Information Service (CIS)
    Translate scientific information into understandable language for patients, families, health professionals, and the general public. English, Spanish, or TTY.

    The International Cancer Alliance for Research and Education
    ICARE is a non-profit organization which provides cancer information to each patient as well as their physician on an on-going, and person-to-person basis.

    Medicare
    For women ages 65 or older information on Medicare's coverage of  mammograms is available through the Medicare Hotline.

    Susan G. Komen Breast Care Helpline
    Compassionate volunteers offer support and answer questions. Monday - Friday, 9AM-4:30PM Central Standard Time. TDD and se habla español.

    Canadian Cancer Society - Information Service
    The site is a mine of useful information. If you need the personal touch, they have a toll free number. Available only during business hours.

    Y-ME National Breast Cancer Hotline
    Features trained counselors who are breast cancer survivors. They have special counselors for family members. Twenty four hours a day - seven days a week!
