    9-aminocamptothecin (9-AC)

    Description: 9AC is a water insoluble camptothecin derivative.

    Ingredient: A novel derivative of camptothecin, 9-aminocamptothecin (9-AC), is currently under Phase II evaluation in various cancers.

    Use: This medication is in clinical trials to treat breast and colon cancers, malignant melanoma, small-cell lung cancer, and leukemia.

    Warnings: None yet - still in trials.

    Side Effects: None yet - still in trials.
